Is a company that provides IT solutions, support and web design to the motor industry through its CALAS product which is licensed out to user firms. In respect of our service to our customers we act as a data processer. We are also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number Z9450511 as a data controller.

AMSL adheres to the principles of the General Data Protection Regulations ("GDPR") with respect to personal data submitted by our customers in reliance on the GDPR to our IT solution, CALAS.

Data collected and processed:

AMSL provides online tools that our customers use to operate aspects of their businesses. These include tools for customer relationship management, customer service, social engagement, data analytics, internal employee management, and platforms for building websites and applications, among others. In providing these tools, AMSL processes data our customers submit to our services or instruct us to process on their behalves. While AMSL's customers decide what data to submit, it typically includes personal information about their customers, sales leads, prospects, employees, and users of online tools, and will consist of data such as contact information, address detail, financial information, purchase information, and invoicing information.

Legal basis of data processing and how it is processed:

AMSL processes data submitted by customers as necessary for the performance of the contract between us and our customers. To fulfil this, AMSL may access the data to provide the services, to correct and address technical or service problems, or to follow instructions of the AMSL customer who submitted the data, or in response to contractual requirements.

Third parties who may receive personal data:

AMSL uses a limited number of third-party service providers (sub-processors) to assist us in providing our services to customers. These sub-processors may offer customer support to our customers, perform database monitoring and other technical operations, assist with the transmission of data, and provide data storage services. These sub-processors may access, process, or store personal data in the course of providing their services. AMSL maintains contracts with sub-processors restricting their access, use and disclosure of personal data in compliance with our GDPR obligations.

Processing outside of the EEA:

We do not send data to any third parties outside of the EEA for processing purposes.

Data Retention:

AMSL will store and/or process data submitted by our customers for as long as is required to fulfil legal or contractual requirements.

Your rights as a data subject:

EU individuals have rights to access, obtain or delete personal data about them, and to limit use and disclosure of their personal data. AMSL has committed to respect those rights. Because AMSL personnel have limited ability to access the data our customers submit to our services, if you wish to request access, to limit use, or to limit disclosure, please provide the name of the AMSL customer who submitted your data to our services. We will refer your request to that customer, and will support them as needed in responding to your request.
